What about the Federal deficit? Is a balanced budget possible, not in the next 10 years, but NOW? Can you solve the budget crisis?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 20, 2011

Our View:

At AmeriGobble our heads spinning from all the dramatic developments taking place around the world. From the turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa to the monster earthquakes, tsunamis and ongoing nuclear disaster in Japan, one has got to wonder what in the heck is going on!

At any rate, with all the other recent distractions one of the biggest immediate problems we face today has quietly slipped into the background. That’s right; it’s our huge debt and growing deficit. Lately the crew here at AmeriGobble has been gobbling about whether we could solve the deficit quickly, as in one budget cycle, and start paying our debt down to become a completely solvent nation within 10 years.

 The Question:

We think it can be done! What do you think and how would you do it?

What will be the impact of the nuclear disaster in Japan on alternative energies, particularly wind and solar?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 20, 2011

The Question:

What do you think will be the impact of the nuclear disaster in Japan on alternative energies, particularly wind and solar?

Our View:

No matter how the saga of the nuclear disaster in Japan ultimately turns out, solar, wind and other alternative fuels just started looking a whole lot better as a long term solution to our energy problems. Of course things do not change quickly, and nuclear generated power will be around for a long time, but we were wondering if the accident in Japan will give an immediate boost to other alternative and renewable industries in terms of investment dollars, revenue and jobs?

16 are left….Who’s got the mojo?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 20, 2011

The question:

So, of the 16 teams left who’s got “it” and who is going to ride “it” to the title?

Our View:

We love tournament time here at AmeriGobble. We love it for not just for the hoops, but for the atmosphere and because it has become an important, uniquely American tradition. Right about this time in the tournament a few teams start to stand out with that often hard to define “it” factor. You know – the mojo, strut, aura. Whatever you want to call it, you can feel it.

Market Madness! Correction or Return of the Bears?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 16, 2011

Of course the disaster in Japan and unrest in the Middle East have investors on edge, but is there more to the latest swing down in the markets? Is this just a correction or a new Bear market. Where do think the markets will head from here?

What will be the impact of the Japan Quake on the US economy?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 16, 2011
Rising oil or falling oil prices, more exports or less exports, more debt or less debt, and most importantly, more jobs or less jobs? What will be the impact of the Japan earthquake/tsunami/ nuclear disaster on the US economy and do you think the US economy could withstand a disaster of the scale of the recent Japan earthquake?

Owners vs Players – Who wins in the NFL labor negotiations?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 16, 2011
We already miss football here at AmeriGobble, and the thought of a canceled or postponed season because of labor issues has got us, well frankly, quite concerned.  I’m already going crazy on Sundays looking for something to do, so they better get this done. So, who you got in this stalemate? Owners or players?

Have unions outlived their relevance and should they even exist in the Public sector?

Posted by Sansizzle on Mar 16, 2011

Lately all the talk is about Unions. From professional sports to the public sector, Unions are in the news with lockouts, strikes and protests. This got us gobbling here at AmeriGobble and want to know what you think about Unions in today’s America and whether they belong in the Public sector at all.  Give us a Gobble and let us know what you think.
